X JAPAN - Site Officiel francais: (translated through Babelfish)

2008.11.07 Warning concerning the management of X JAPAN and the changes in world tour X JAPAN Production Committee Management worked, with the strong intention of all the members of X JAPAN, to begin the world tour in Paris at all costs.

Irving_Azoff However, to consolidate the success of this world tour, we made a partnership with the largest companies of management in America, namely AZOFF MANAGEMENT, (with Mr Irving Azoff like chair) and also Filament Inc., directed by the creator of the company Warner Brothers Records, Mr Phil Quartararo for qu' they coordinate the whole with a total world vision.

We are also in the end of the exchanges with the world leader of the promoters in concerts, AEG, for the details of this world tour. After several exchanges between the parts implied to lead to the success of this world tour, it was decided that AZOFF MANAGEMENT will play the part of leader with the full powerss on the decisional side, working for the world promotion of X JAPAN, with FILAMENT Inc.

doofAZOFF MANAGEMENT and FILAMENT Inc. put d' agreement on the new strategy to push back all the program envisaged jusqu' with l' next year, which includes the concert in Paris on November 22 as well as the announced concerts the 24 and December 25 in Saitama Super Arena. Consequently, the round will start for the concert of countdown of end d' year in 2008, although the concerts in HongKong, Bangkok, Taiwan and in Korea will take seat as he was announced previously.

Next spring, there will be a Japanese national round which will be followed by a new concert to Paris to replace the concert of November as well as additional concerts in Scandinavia including Sweden, etc For those and those which planned their arrival in Paris and/or Saitama Super Arena, want accept our more complete apologies for this sudden advertisement, although the reasons behind these pushed back concerts come from the contractual situation implying an international exploitation.

S' you like it give us a little more time in order to finalize the new strategic world plans for X JAPAN.
One begins to wonder if Yoshiki was always a fuck up, and it's just the free flow of information on the internet that is making that fact clearer now.

I know Yoshiki disappoints his fans a lot, but I'm confused, how is this his fault?

the only reason you cancel a show, aside from health problems, would be money problems.

so he announced this paris show without everything being in place, which is amateur hour mistake number one.

he hired people who couldn't make it happen, or is just using them as the scapegoat(s), which be fuck-up number two.

and he doesn't have the sense or the guts to play a smaller show at a less grand location, which is mistake #3 and the worst part.

like with NYC, X coulda filled Bowery Ballroom a couple nights in a row, but instead he was all primadonnic and like, "no! Madison Square Garden or we're not coming!" So it's like, fine, play your impersonal, economically efficient stadium gigs elsewhere, dick!

Betcha they never come to Europe. Indie bands can do it fine, but X Japan just can't handle it. Pffft!

It seems like they've settled for a smaller tour (if they will tour at all). It would be cool if they came over here to Sweden but I seriously doubt that they will ever play outside Japan again.

He's just a major has been. None of his post-X projects went anywhere, and now he's dragging X's fucking legacy through the mud to get some attention.

I know they had already disbanded, but the magic of X died with hide.

Still think you got it Yoshiki? Form a new band and prove it. Oh wait, nvm....SKIN..... haha.

I just don't understand why he doesn't play at the Zenith in Paris like L'Arc did (and frigging epic it was).

*deepsigh*

Whatever, not that I have any respect for this guy left.

According to Wikipedia, they're scheduled to play at Akasaka Blitz on New Year's Eve.

Well, it's already confirmed news that X Japan will tour across America in the spring and summer of next year (as confirmed by YoshikiDiscovery.com, owned by Filament inc, Yoshiki's new whoring organisation).

If anything, Irving Azoff won't take any shit, it already looks certain that X Japan's touring schedule will be gruelling in the mind of any band - let alone the one which couldn't even deal with a tour as small as the Dahlia Tour when at the height of their fame and musicianship.

To me, this whole situation exemplifies the ineptitude of X Japan's manager, he has always been like this, ask any Japanese fan - Yoshiki's first mistake was employing the guy, let alone bringing him back for X Japan's reunion. It now even looks like Yoshiki doesn't have the guts to sack him, bringing in a separate management group to undermine him instead.

I have to agree with Go on this, YOSHIKI's lack of management for his band and his primadonna ways are really the problem here.

Dir en grey played Nokia Theatre last year and Terminal 5 this year, why could they not play these smaller venues?

What? Because you're too good for indie venue, YOSHIKI?!

The man has lost it, he is a washed up has been that is nothing but a joke. I no longer take him seriously (I haven't for quite some time) and will treat him like a total joke.

If Sugizo can play Grammercy Theatre, why can't him?

I believe it.

intan 11/10/2008 12:25:00 AM

Did they do a press conference on this or did they only put written announcement on the site?

Either way, it's too much. That big baby Yoshiki just don't know how to delegate to the right people. This surely disappoints us, fans. I'm kind of ashamed...

Any word on Thai concert? Is it also re-scheduled?

Man, I used to Love X.
All these fuck ups are ruining the
good memories.
I've given up already on any U.S. shows.
