A pleasant spin, but I'm not hearing the breathtaker that was "Howling" (off their debut)."Dusk til Dawn"'s still a great song for reading your high school yearbook to, and "Siren" is the angriest track they've ever done, and "Blade Chord" is more mechanical than I recall.
Cool stuff, lots of riffing and professional all the way (songwriting, performances, production...) ...just not the burst-onto-the-scene shock that we got to indulge in with the first album.
